Feeling Overwhelmed?

You want your student to thrive in college, but it can be hard to know where to start. Today’s college landscape may feel very different from when or where you went to school, or perhaps your educational path did not look like your student’s at all. No matter your background or circumstances, your questions and concerns are valid! Things that might be going through your mind?

  • Which colleges will actually fit my teen's learning style and strengths?

  • How do I even start putting together a college list?

  • Is my teen ready to manage time, speak up with professors, and handle daily life more independently? Are they ready for college?

  • What does “liberal arts” actually mean, and how is it different from a more specialized or career‑focused program?

  • What if my teen has no idea what they want to study?

  • How can anyone afford to pay for college?

Are you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted from all the conflicting information you are receiving?

You don’t have to figure this out alone!

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

The support doesn't end at acceptance

Most college consultants disappear after May 1. I don't. I stay with your student through freshman year, because for neurodivergent students, the transition if often when things fall apart. New environments, new systems, no IEP, no one who knows them. I bridge that gap, providing continuous, familiar support and guidance.

This is the piece most families don't know to ask for - until it's too late.

Hello - I'm Marie

I'm Marie, a speech-language pathologist turned college consultant, and that combination is not an accident. My SLP background means I understand how neurodivergent students actually think and communicate, and how to match them with colleges where they'll genuinely thrive.

"Marie was outstanding, knowledgeable about the transfer process, practical, and completely tailored to my daughter's goals. She created realistic timelines, refined essays, and found campuses with the right programs. She is especially effective for neurodiverse students. Marie broke tasks into manageable steps, built my daughter's confidence, and empowered her to take ownership of the process. Having Marie take the lead let me be more hands-off, which preserved my relationship with my daughter during a stressful time." - Mother of student enrolling at UMass Amherst as a transfer student
